Teamwork

Every believer has the calling and the responsibility to serve according to their abilities or gifting. But the responsibility of a group leader is greater. In addition to utilizing their abilities, leaders should identify and use the abilities of the group they lead. Teamwork is engaging every team member according to their unique abilities. When necessary, it may require delegating a task partially or entirely to someone with similar or better serving abilities than the leader. However, it doesn't mean dropping a critical responsibility on someone without periodic supervision.

Embracing such a bold and humble attitude lets the Holy Spirit engage everyone at their full potential. Moreover, the Holy Spirit equips and grants such obedient leaders additional gifts to take on greater responsibilities! We can’t find leaders with all the essential leadership qualities crucial to a successful ministry. Instead, leaders who join forces form a more robust and unbreakable team. If one lacks one of the essential qualities, other leaders fill in.
