Adam and Eve enjoyed living in the Garden of Eden at the beginning of the seventh day until their disobedience opened a flood of plages. Consequently, suffering spread over the entire creation, including animals and vegetation. Misery took over lives, not only in this world, but we lost eternal life and the sweet presence of our Lord. Yet, because of Christ’s sacrifice, the gates of eternity reopened. And though our world still suffers, eternity has no pain or sorrow. Therefore, the entire creation groans to become free from the bondage of this curse and enter God’s eternal rest to live and reign forever!

because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.” Romans 8:20-23 NKJV

Transformation and Transition

We are now confident that our faith in Jesus Christ has revoked the citizenship of darkness and granted us citizenship of the kingdom of God! Therefore, the Holy Spirit keeps transforming us into the likeness of our Lord. These gradual changes will continue throughout our lives on this Earth; however, our citizenship has been sealed by the Holy Spirit since the day we believed.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”  2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV

“In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.”  Ephesians 1:13-14

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”  John 5:24 NKJV

And at last, death will be defeated, and the glorious kingdom of God will take over! All the nations and people of different languages and nations will enter his glorious and majestic presence and worship and sing a new song!

‘And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”’  Revelation 5:9-10 NKJV

"Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen." Jude 1:24-25
