The Purpose of Creation
We enjoy life when everything goes well, and the sun shines. But sometimes, when life becomes dull and sorrow overcomes joy, we sink into our thoughts and ask if there is intent in existence. Is there a purpose in our short or even everlasting lives? What is the purpose of this majestic creation? This is a fundamental question and deserves an honest answer.
But if this fading world we see, the beautiful waterfalls, forests, mountains, and skies, is so magnificent, wouldn't the enternal world be even more glorious?! Heaven is not just a place with people but filled with wonders, beauty, music, and excitement that no eye has ever seen nor ear ever heard.
'But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." ' 1 Corinthians 2:9
Every line of the Scriptures that refer to eternity describes one of its mysteries. Through those lines, the creation's meaning and purpose are revealed. From the first to the last page of the Bible, we can see and read that God created us in his own image and likeness, purposely with free will so we may choose to enter his kingdom and, as heirs, live and reign with him forever!
‘And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” ’ Rev. 21:3,4 NKJV
“Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Matthew 25:34
“There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.” Revelations 22:5
But God is patiently waiting for all to join Christ. Therefore, God and his entire kingdom rejoice when even one person repents and is saved.
“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents…” Luke 15:7 NKJV
